Massey teams with Jindal for coal projects

USA-based Massey Energy has announced a deal to work with Indian company Jindal Steel & Power on potential underground coal projects in India, Mongolia, Australia and the United States. Massey Chief Executive Don Blankenship says the agreement promises to extend his company's operations overseas, AP reported.

For Dehli-based Jindal, which operates steel, power, mining and oil and gas businesses, the pact promises lower cost and stable energy sources. Massey operates coal mines in the states of West Virginia, Virginia and Kentucky. Jindal
